Shadowing is an opportunity to see how local government works from the inside. The aim is to pair you up with a councillor in your area to give you first hand experience of the job.

You'll get a chance to work with them on their daily business - meeting local people, solving problems, campaigning for the community, making policy decisions and more. We aim to offer more than standard work experience - we want to see you working with your council to make a real difference.
